This is a photo I took one evening this past summer from one of the new subdivisions, Georgetown, looking across a cove towards Belmont Shores. I liked the way the colors of the sky were reflected in the water and the homes and trees across the way were in shadow. Living at Lake Anna has proven to be far from boring. I will never get enough of all the dramatic scenery when we least expect it. Many times I look up at the sky and am so grateful that we can see so much. We're not surrounded by skyscrapers compressing the sky into tiny glimpses, a peek here and a peek there. Today I was talking with my daughter by cell while standing outside. I happened to look up and saw the most beautiful deep blue sky with a slew of wispy clouds, some very white and others very transparent. It was wonderful and I so wanted to share it with my daughter who was down in Williamsburg. She looked up and had a beautiful blue sky but not the cloud formation that made the sky over my part of Lake Anna especially appealing. We are so fortunate to live here.
