WHERE DO YOU BELONG?
For some of us it's the mountains...for others it's water. What is your preference?
From the time I was very young I realized how much I loved the water (although for the life of me I can't do much more than dog paddle) and wanted to live as close as possible to it. Do I have to be in it or on it? NO. Just let me feast my eyes and I'm content. Am I particular as to the body of water? Again, a big NO. Make it the ocean, a very big pond, the river, or a lake and I'm bound to be happy and content.

By the way, I do like being in the water and I love getting on our Tritoon on a beautiful day, taking a nice long ride, dropping anchor somewhere away from our dock, and just feeling the rocking of the boat. I've been known to take a folding lounge chair on board and dozing off. I often think that Lake Anna is the closest I'll probably ever get to heaven. At least it's my idea of heaven.
Others want the mountains. I wonder what creates this difference in us. I could easily live on the side of a mountain PROVIDING I had water stretching out in front of me. I'd love to know how we arrive at our preference.
All I know is, the first time I went to Hawaii I sent my mom and dad a post card telling them that I knew a stork had not brought me...it was a sea gull.
Where is the right spot for you?
