Competitveness and Camaraderie
Most people will look at the profession of real estate as a very competitive field. It can be, if you let yourself get caught up in being overly competive or you can keep it at a healthy level (is there such at thing?) and you can certainly view it as an opportunity to create camaraderie.
One of our fellow Lake Anna REALTORS recently hung up her license. Ellen Distefano, a 14 year Lake Anna REALTOR, decided she wanted more time to tend her garden (we'll have to get some photos to share), to do some traveling, and hopefully to fulfill some other dreams.

As a salute to Ellen as she starts a new chapter in her life, Lil Conner hosted a festive luncheon celebrating the event. Fellow old-timers (certainly not old in age, just in terms of surviving a number of years in real estate here at Lake Anna) joined Lil at her home to honor Ellen. It was a fun afternoon sharing stories of "how it used to be." We wish Ellen well with all of her new adventures.
